Passing By Piano Sheet Music Yiruma (born February 15, 1978) is a South Korean pianist and composer. Yiruma regularly releases piano music albums in South Korea. Yiruma composes a variety of musical pieces such as classical, jazz, ballad, Latin and pop rock. Yiruma has sold over 1.5 million albums in Korea alone, with 700,000 certified copies of his 2001 album First Love and 200,000 copies of the Yiruma 2003 – Winter Solstice. Yiruma’s 2002 remix album YRMX was also a success; it sold more than 150,000 copies. Yiruma has been invited to perform at various international events such as the Yiruma River Concert in Beijing, China and Yiruma Musical Night of Vienna in Austria. He also held his own concert tour throughout Asia. Yiruma composes music that is influenced by Mozart, Chopin, Faure and other famous classical composers but still has his very own style of playing. Yiruma’s album First Love became the first album of a Korean artist ever to be listed on the Japanese Oricon music charts’ top 10 list, with Yiruma being the first Korean musician to appear at an MTV Asia awards show and Yiruma was also invited by Sony Music Japan International to record with them in 2003.
