“Chaconne for Solo Violin in D minor, BWV 1004, is a piece written by Johann Sebastian Bach. Yiruma’s version of Chaconne was arranged and composed using Yiruma’s characteristic style.”
So there you have it! Yiruma definitely provided enough evidence that would raise the eyebrows of any journalist worth their salt. Yiruma has never been a very media-savvy person. He let his management handle all business related issues during his early days, which was probably due to his shyness or the lack of time. Yiruma has been very open with his emotions and beliefs since the beginning of his career. He told YH that he had never thought about a plot for his music videos, which he would have to relay to his management before being confirmed by Yiruma (No matter what YH says, YH is definitely Yiruma’s main man). Yiruma always tried to let us know how much faith, hope and love he put into each song. And we believe him! In the article written by ‘Q’, it says: “The artist himself chooses the songs in accordance with a specific mood.” So even if YH knows what Yiruma feels at any moment, does that mean other people can also determine how Yiruma feels? YH’s comments can be interpreted in many ways, and YH wanted Yiruma to stop Yiruma from ‘over-praising’ his music. What was YH really thinking about the beauty of Yiruma’s music? We have no choice but to put our trust in YH for now.
When YH spoke about Yiruma on 14/7, he said that Yh used a lot of common sense whilst managing Yiruma and his music career. He also said “If you ask me how much effort and time I’ve spent on watching over Yiruma up till now, I’d say it was very little compared to the amount of efforts (I put in) during those Yiruma fan meetings in Japan.” YH also mentioned Yiruma’s comeback show to be held on 17/8. YH said that Yiruma had already finished filming for his new music video, and the quality of it was truly out of this world. Yh said he was very touched by Yiruma’s efforts during those 3 months when Yh spent all his time preparing for Yiruma’s comeback. And from 17/8 onwards, YH will return to planning more events in Korea as well as overseas (as usual).
