Terranigma – Europe Piano Sheet Music Terranigma is an action-adventure game developed by the Japanese video game development team “Soul of Darkness” and published by Enix (now Square Enix) in 1993 for the Super Famicom. Terranigma centers around a young hero’s quest to restore life and order to the world after it was torn asunder by an apocalyptic event. Terranigma was also the last game developed by “Soul of Darkness” before they merged with “Quintet” and formed their own company, “tri-Ace”. Terranigma was released only in Japan, Europe, and Australia; being a late 16-bit title from Enix it would have been quite expensive to localize for the North American market. Terranigma also had a unique gameplay mechanic that was not adopted by any other game; the player could create objects in the game world by drawing them on paper with an in-game tool and scanning it into the system, which would finally turn it into an object. Terranigma sold around 400,000 copies worldwide. Terranigma is often considered to be one of the best Super Famicom titles never released outside of Japan. Terranigma was also included in Enix’s 2014 Nintendo 3DS compilation of classic games, “I Am Setsuna”.
