Information: Stone Sour is an American rock band from Des Moines, Iowa. Formed in 1992, the group was founded by Corey Taylor, later to become lead singer of Slipknot as well as Stone Sour, and members Shawn Economaki, Joel Ekman, and James Root. In 2002, Greg Eklund replaced Economaki on drums.

They released Stone Sour in 2002 and it has since been certified Gold by the RIAA. The album produced a single a remake of the Black Holes and Revelations song “Metamorphosis”. Stone Sour’s second album, Come What(ever) May was released in 2006 and debuted on the Billboard 200 at #8, the highest Stone Sour has reached on the chart to date. Stone Sour went on hiatus in 2007 but came out of retirement in November 2010. Stone Sour released an album of cover songs titled “Meanwhile In Burbank…” and their fourth studio album “House Of Gold & Bones – Part 1” was released on October 22, 2012. Stone Sour’s most recent album “Hydrograd” was released June 30, 2017, and includes Stone Sour’s most successful song to date “Song #3”. Stone Sour has sold over 4 million albums worldwide.
