Pokémon GO has taken the world by storm and Pokémon fans worldwide are celebrating with an intensity not seen since Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue (Pokémon Green in Japan) were released back in 1998.

I sought to make Pokémon GO ‘s theme playable on the piano by simplifying the chord changes and melodies for it. While this could be considered cheating, I’m doing it because Pokémon GO is really an impossible song to play—the original key is way too high (and the Pokémon theme too complex) for a pianist to play it live.
That said, if you got the skills and know how to play this song, I’ve provided YouTube links below where Pokémon GO is actually played well by someone else (even though they do cheat as well). And yeah, Pokémon GO has been stuck in my head ever since I heard it.
…And in Pokémon GO , you gotta catch them all!
So here’s the sheet music for Pokémon GO ‘s Battle Theme, arranged in Pokémon Red/Blue’s key of F major. If I have time, I’ll share the sheet music for Pokémon Yellow’s Pokémon Theme since that song is also catchy and pop-y in F major, but Pokémon’s main theme is in B flat (“an octave lower” ) since Pokémon Yellow takes place after Pokémon Red/Blue. You can find Pokémon Red/Blue’s sheet music here , Pokémon Yellow sheet music here , and Pokémon Green sheet music here .
