Maple Treeway is the third course in the Flower Cup, and home to Lakitu, who was Mario’s very first ally during his journey to save Princess Peach. The terrain features thick forests with zigzagging roads, Mario must race around this map by using mushroom boost at various points, and avoiding the pitfalls that surround this track. Mario Kart Wii is a Mario-franchise kart racing video game released for Nintendo’s Wii console in 2008. Players use items during a race to interfere with other racers to gain advantage on the track. The classic Mario theme song plays while players force their way through tight turns and tall bumps of this Mario Kart Wii track. Mario Kart Wii is Mario’s 3rd installment to the Mario Kart series released on April 10, 2008 in Japan and November 11, 2008 internationally. Like previous Mario Kart games on Nintendo GameCube and Nintendo 64, Mario is matched with other famous video game characters such as Luigi and Peach.
