Mariah Carey – Through The Rain Piano Sheet Music

“Through the Rain” is Mariah Carey’s nineteenth #1 single, and the second of her career to reach number one in three different calendar years. The ballad, which samples the drum break from Soft Cell’s “Memorabilia”, was written by Mariah Carey, Jermaine Dupri, Manuel Seal, and Crystal Johnson (the last of the four being uncredited). The song was produced by Mariah Carey and Jermaine Dupri, with programming by Mariah Carey. Mariah’s vocals for this song were recorded in her home studio located on Long Island, New York during a break from touring. Mariah has said that she originally wrote “Through the Rain” in a minor key, but changed the key in order to give it a more gospel-like sound. Mariah released an official demo of the song on her Myspace page. The song was originally intended for Mariah’s previous album “E=MC²” (2008), but Mariah decided not to include it on the album because she felt it would be better for the next album.
