Kirby & the Amazing Mirror, Kirby’s first Game Boy Advance adventure, was well-received for its unique and interesting multiplayer gameplay system. Kirby could split into ten smaller versions of itself, called “Mini Kirbies”, and could join together with other Mini Kirbies to form larger Kirby combinations; Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards later implemented a similar concept called Kirby Kirby Kirby Kirby Kirby Kirby Kirby Kirby Kirby Kirby. The game was also well-received for its soundtrack, which incorporated many different genres to create distinct areas within the game.
One of the most memorable songs in Kirby & the Amazing Mirror is “Candy Constellation”, an overworld theme that plays during Kirby, Gooey, and Kirby’s three-headed friend, Kirby Kirby Kirby Kirby Kirby Kirby Kirby Kirby Kirby Kirby. It has a distinct jazzy/progressive rock feel to it that sets the mood for adventure and new discoveries in the game.
