Journey – Open Arms Piano Sheet Music

Journey is an American rock band that formed in 1973. Journey’s hits include “Any Way You Want It,” “Don’t Stop Believin'” and “Open Arms.” Journey frontman Steve Perry wrote the song, while Journey guitarist Neal Schon co-wrote it with Perry. The song was recorded at Sound City Recording Studio in Van Nuys, California. Journey bassist Ross Valory recalls recording an earlier version of the song, which he describes as “more quirky.” Journey drummer Steve Smith shares that “the lyrics were way too out there for us” and Schon suggests that Journey initially wanted to cut the track with Elvis Presley.
