Irene Cara – Flashdance… What A Feeling Piano Sheet Music – Irene Cara is an American singer, songwriter, dancer and actress. Irene was born on March 18th in New York City to Susan Irene (Hawkins) and Caesar Cara. Irene is most famously known for her Oscar winning song ‘Flashdance… What a Feeling’. Irene Cara was discovered in the early 80’s when she made an appearance in a commercial for Dawn dishwashing liquid and gave a brief rendition of ‘Fame’. Irene was only 13 years old when this happened, but already had her eyes on becoming a star. Irene took part in the American version of ‘Popstars’ titled Making The Band which aired on MTV in 2002, she was eventually selected to become part of the girl group that was created called Eden’s Crush.
