In InuYasha, the main hero Inuyasha’s mother was attacked and killed by a pack of demons, which left Inuyasha an orphan. In this scene of InuYasha, Inuyasha is playing on his flute (which is a gift from his deceased father) as Kikyo holds him.

The InuYasha – Dearest Acoustic Piano Version is an acoustic piano cover of Inuyasha’s ending theme song from the InuYasha anime series. This song became very popular as it tells the story of Inuyasha and Kagome. In InuYasha, Inuyasha is a half demon Inuyasha and Kagome is a simple human. In InuYasha, Inuyahsa falls in love with Kagome but Kikyo also loves Inuyasha, and Kikyo was previously revived by Inuyasha’s father. During the first season of InuYasha Inuyasha was under a spell of Kikyo that Inuyasha cannot fall in love with another woman, so Inuyahsa had to fight and kill Kikyo. In InuYasha, Kagome is the reincarnation of Kikyo. In InuYasha’s ending song, it speaks not only about Inuyasha longing for Kagome, but also Inuyasha’s memories of Kikyo.
