John Williams – The Spiders Piano Sheet Music John Williams is one of the most well known film score composers in history. John was born in Queens, New York City on February 8th, 1932. John attended the Eastman School of Music for college after attending New York University and only finishing two years at Harvard University. John began his career as a jazz pianist, but John shifted to composing for films in the 1960s. John has scored several award winning films such as Home Alone, E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial, Star Wars, Schindler’s List and many more. John was also nominated for 50 Academy Awards during his career time and John won 5 of them. John has even won 22 Grammy Awards and John has been nominated for 83 in total. John is currently retired, but John will always be remembered by his fantastic scores in many movies over the years. As John stated in an interview back in 2012 with “The Music of John Williams” documentary done in 2012 by C-SPAN, John stated that when John writes, John feels like John is writing to himself. John has stated that John hears the music in John head and John tries to get it out of John’s head and into paper which other people can read.
