Harold Faltermeyer’s works as a record producer and songwriter have earned him great fame. He is also one of the world’s best known film score composers. Harold composed some of the most popular titles which included Beverly Hills Cop, Top Gun, Fletch and the first three films in The Transformers series. Harold was born on November 22, 1952 and grew up in the borough of Queens, New York. Harold started playing drums when he was seven years old and took piano lessons from Harry Epstein at Juilliard School of Music. Harold attended Queens College and graduated with a degree in musicology. Harold later formed his own band ‘Harold Faltermeyer And The Hybrids’ and they recorded Harold’s own compositions. Harold has composed music for many film soundtracks but his most notable work is the Harold Faltermeyer – Axel F Piano Sheet Music which was used in Beverly Hills Cop. Harold has over 150 production credits which include songs done by Rod Stewart, Donna Summer, Rick Springfield, Berlin and Barbra Streisand. Harold has also composed music for several television series like Melrose Place, Star Trek: The Next Generation and Charles in Charge. Harold is active in the film industry till date and is currently working on the Harold Faltermeyer – Axel F Piano Sheet Music which will be used in Harold’s new musical Harold’s World .
