Fire Emblem: Three Houses is a tactical role-playing video game developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo. In the Fire Emblem series, Fire Emblem is set in a fantasy world of intersecting narratives. The story of Fire Emblem takes place on the continent of Fódlan, where players control their customized avatar, who leads soldiers of various classes. Fire Emblem is split into two segments: the exploration segment which takes place between missions, and the battle gameplay segment which takes place on grid-based battlefields. Fire Emblem’s plot begins with three main protagonists, Edelgard von Hraesvelgr, Dimitri Alexander Ainsworth Balserio, and Claude von Regan, who study at the Officer’s Academy. They are joined by Sister Lieselotte Sherlock, a member of the Church of Seiros who acts as an adviser to the main characters in Fire Emblem. As the story progresses, the player is introduced to more allies that join their ranks. Fire Emblem follows these five young warriors as they become leaders of the country’s armies.
