Destiny’s Child – Say My Name Piano Sheet Music
Destiny’s Child (stylized as Destiny’s Child) is an American R&B girl group whose final and best-known line-up comprised Beyoncé Knowles, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams. Formed in 1990 in Houston, Texas the trio scored chart success in the late 1990s and early 2000s with their albums “Destiny Fulfilled” (2004) and Destiny’s Child – writing, recording, and producing many of their hit songs. Among the best-known are “Independent Women”, “Survivor”, “Say My Name”, “Bills, Bills, Bills”, “Bootylicious”, and “Jumpin’, Jumpin'”. Destiny’s Child has sold more than 60 million records worldwide to date.
In 1990, Destiny’s Child recorded their first song, “Killing Time”. Due to the group being too young to be signed to a major record label at that time, Mathew Knowles arranged a meeting with the president of Elektra Records. In January 1991, Destiny’s Child became the first contemporary R&B group to attend a rap convention at Le Cote Basque club in New York City. The ladies wanted to open for MC Lyte but their management convinced them it wasn’t a good idea so they asked Shawn Colvin instead. Destiny’s Child was signed to Elektra Records in January 1991,
and released Destiny’s Child (album) on February 17, 1993. The album peaked at number 67 on the US Billboard 200 and featured the singles “Killing Time” and “Jumpin’, Jumpin'”. Destiny’s Child
