DDR Supernova 2 is the 9th Dance Dance Revolution arcade game released by Konami on November 25, 2008. The new feature for this Dance Dance Revolution game is it has 7 panels instead of 5 like DDR SuperNova (SuperNova 1) or 6 like Dance Dance Revolution X (X2). Dance Dance Revolution Supernova 2 introduces a new difficulty scale called “Groove Radar” which is derived from Dance Dance Revolution X’s Groove Gauge.

Poseidon was released on Dance Dance Revolution SuperNova 2 as part of the first location test in Japan on November 25, 2008. It can be unlocked as an extra stage on Dance Dance Revolution SuperNova 2 by obtaining a “Poseidon” clear mark (a blue star-shaped mark) on Dance Dance Revolution.
