Damien Rice is an indie folk musician who was born in Ireland, but has currently moved to the US. Damien has released four studio albums including O, B-Sides and Unreleased tracks. Damien’s songs are often heart wrenching – Damien’s voice is extremely soothing yet powerful all at once. Damien also played Damien Rice in the film The Nativity Story. Damien’s song “Rootless Tree” is a hauntingly beautiful ballad that was released in 2006 on Damien’s album 9.
