Chrono Trigger was then translated and published in North America and Europe in 1996 and was released on the PlayStation and PlayStation Vita platforms in 2011 and 2013 respectively. Chrono Trigger became available to download via the Wii Virtual Console service in 2009. Chrono Trigger was later released as one of twenty-one titles in the Super NES Classic Edition (known as the SNES Mini outside Japan) on September 29, 2017.
