Chopin – Rondo in c minor, Op.1 Piano Sheet Music

Chopin’s Rondo in C minor, Op.1, No. 1 is the first Chopin  piece I ever played and remains a particular favorite of mine to this day. There are several reasons for this:

First, it is an excellent piece with which to begin learning Chopin’s  style of music. It has a catchy main theme with a beautiful second  subject, which provides ample opportunity for developing one’s  finger independence and musicality. Chopin was known for having a very  dramatic style in his compositions, and this piece is no exception. Finally, it  is technically challenging enough to provide a good challenge to me as a piano  student and yet not so challenging as to be discouraging.
