Cave Story is a fantastic game and its soundtrack makes it even better. Cave Story is available on several platforms but the music was originally composed for Cave Story 3D , which is only playable through Nintendo’s 3DS handheld console. Cave Story is free to download and play, however Cave Story 3D requires that you purchase it before you can access the music. Cave Story is also available on steam for around five dollars.
The Cave Story OST is composed of ten tracks, some with an alternate version to them that includes vocals. Below are the original and vocal versions of ‘Balcony’, which are both amazing pieces but have their own unique tone. The Cave Story OST can be downloaded from Cave Story’s website for free.
