Born in McComb, Mississippi and raised in Kentwood, Louisiana, she performed acting gigs and recorded demo tapes as a child,[1] In 1997 Britney made her singing debut with the single “…Baby One More Time” which shot to number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. Her debut studio album Britney (1999) became the first of four albums released by her so far, and spawned singles “Sometimes”, “Born to Make You Happy” and “…Baby One More Time”. Britney Spears has sold over twenty-four million albums in the United States alone,[3] and over eighty-nine million albums worldwide

Britney Jean charts at number four on the Billboard 200, becoming Britney’s highest debut album and Britney Spears’s sixth top ten album. Britney: Piece of Me which is Britney’s first live-action theatrical film was attached with Britney Jean.[5] Britney: Piece of Me made its premiere at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino’s Britney Spears Theatre in Las Vegas. Britney debuted as a coach on the second season of NBC’s The Voice, and finished as the winning mentor.
