Banjo-Kazooie is a platformer created by Rare and was first released for the Nintendo 64 back in 1998. It originally came on 4 disks, on which there were 7 worlds each. Banjo must save his sister Tooty from the evil witch Gruntilda who has kidnapped her. Mumbo’s mambo hut is a location in Banjo-Kazooie that Banjo and Kazooie visit very frequently. Mumbo is a shaman who Banjo can use to transform into other creatures by using powerful objects called witch eggs. In Banjo-Kazooie, Mumbo’s hut is located at the center of an island surrounded by water where Banjo can get Banjo’s sister, who he has to rescue from the evil witch Gruntilda. Banjo-Kazooie is Banjo and Kazooie’s first adventure after Banjo becomes a playable character in Donkey Kong 64.
Mumbo’s hut features prominently in the beginning of Banjo-Kazooie. Banjo’s sister, Tooty, is kidnapped by the evil witch Gruntilda. Banjo and Kazooie must travel to Mumbo’s hut where Banjo can transform into various creatures with special abilities to aid in his journey. Banjo-Kazooie have a dedicated fanbase who have built up things like fan art throughout the years which Banjo-Kazooie are famous for. Banjo-Kazooie are also known for Banjo’s sister, Tooty, who is a major part of the plot in Banjo-Kazooie.
