Saa, Hajimari You (さあ、はじめよう) Azumanga Daioh (Japanese Azumanga Daioh (Japanese アズマガDAIＯ！, Hepburn: Azumaga Daiō?) is a Japanese yonkoma comedy manga series written and illustrated by Kiyohiko Azuma. It was serialized in MediaWorks’ Dengeki Daioh shōnen manga magazine between 1999 and 2002, with the chapters collected into four tankōbon volumes. The series was adapted as an anime television series broadcast on TV Tokyo from April to September 2002. Azumanga Daioh chronicles the everyday life in an unnamed Japanese high school of six girls and two of their teachers. Azumanga Daioh received the 2002 Kodansha Manga Award for the shōnen demographic and has been translated internationally.
