About Avicii Avicii is a Swedish EDM DJ, remixer and record producer. Avicii ranked 3rd on the list of the top 100 DJs in 2012, 2013 and 2014 according to “DJ Magazine”. Avicii’s style is mainly progressive house but he also produces other forms of electronic music like trance, classical music and chillout. Avicii’s production style involves the use of layers upon layers of combined sounds in his songs.

A little bit about Avicii Avicii (real name Tim Bergling) was born on 8 September 1989 in Stockholm, Sweden. He started making music when he was 16 years old when he began experimenting with different genres in his parents’ home. Avicii initially released two songs ‘Manman’ and ‘Bromance’, both in 2007. Avicii released the hit song “Seek Bromance” in 2009, which reached number 2 on the Beatport charts during October 2009. Avicii has remixed various songs for other well-known artists including ‘Sexy B*tch’ by David Guetta and ‘Superlove’ by Avicii, which was released in 2009. Avicii has also worked with other DJs to create remixes such as Madonna’s “Girl Gone Wild” (Avicii’s UMF Remix) in 2012 ( Avicii’s UMF Remix ) and ‘Dancing in My Head’ (Avicii’s ‘PINK’ Remix) by David Guetta featuring Chris Willis. Avicii has released two studio albums: “True” ( Avicii – True (Deluxe Version) ) and Stories ( Avicii – Stories ).
