Asian Kung-Fu Generation (アジアンクンフージェネレーション, Ajian Kongō Jenerēshon) is a Japanese rock band formed in 1996. The group currently consists of vocalist Masafumi Gotoh and guitarist Kensuke Kita. Asian Kung-Fu Generation originally started out as a trio, consisting of Gotoh, bassist Takahiro Yamada and drummer Kiyoshi Ijichi. Asian Kung-Fu Generation have released 10 studio albums, one single VHS/DVD entitled Adult Banzai 900km/h, two remix albums titled Asian Kung-Fu Generations Remixes Vol. 1 and Asian Kung-Fu Generations Remixes Vol. 2, and a live DVD from the Asian Kung-Fu Generation Tour 2008 “Gratitude” which included footage from their Yokohama Arena performance on December 21, 2008.
