Asatte no Houkou – Konwaku Piano Sheet Music

Body: Asatte no Houkou (“The Sound of Rain on a Tea-Planted Field”,  literally) is a wonderful, simple song by Koshi Inaba, frontman and founding member of the popular rock band B’z. Asatte no Houkou was used as the ending theme to the anime movie What’s Michael? As such, it became a staple to anime fans and one of Inaba’s most well-known songs. Asatte no Houkou was released in the studio album ‘The 7th Blues’ and sold over 1 million copies. The lyrics for Asatte no Houkou were written by Koshi Inaba and Takashi Matsumoto, the latter is best known as the anime scriptwriter for both Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure and Fist of the North Star. Asatte no Houkou was originally written by Takashi Matsumoto in 1987, during his time living at Mount Asama. As a writer of pop songs he wrote Asatte no Houkou as a song he wished he had written himself. Asatte no Houkou was first sung by Yosui Inoue who is best known for the opening of the anime series Ranma 1/2 Asatte no Houkou’s popularity rose after it was used as the ending theme to What’s Michael? Asatte no Houkou is about the ephemeral beauty of a love that cannot last. Asatte no Houkou has since become an anthem for many anime fans who were touched by its story and lyrics. Asatte no Houkou was initially released with B-sides Yuuzora (夕空), Asatte no Asa (明日葉) and Asa Hiru Yoru Midori (朝霧る夜みどり). As well as containing Asatte no Houkou, As The 7th Blues was in turn released with B-sides in the form of three Asa Hiru Yoru (朝霧夜) songs Asatte no Asa (明日葉), Asa Hiru Yoru Midori (朝霧る夜みどり) and Asatte no Asa ~Original Karaoke Version~
