Two weeks ago AronChupa hit number one in the UK Singles Charts with his song “I’m an Albatraoz”. Aron (AronChupa is a so called artistic name and not Aron’s real name) was born 1991 in Sweden. He lives together with his parents, who moved to Stockholm from Estonia before Aron was born. Aron started writing songs and playing the drums at age 7. At age 13 AronChupa started to produce his own music in addition to singing, piano and guitar. Aron’s big dream is to become a famous musician, so he has worked hard for this goal.
AronChupa writes music to go with his own lyrics. Aron has always been very open minded in what he listens to, so Aron’s style of music is difficult to define. AronChupa’s musical styles are mainly Swedish schlager, hip hop, dancehall and reggae. Aron also sings in English, French and Estonian. Aron is a fan of Swedish artist Magnus Uggla, also AronChupa likes to write his own songs in the same way that Magnus Uggla does. Aron tries to give his music a personal touch and Aron thinks it’s important for an artist to have his own style. Aron has always been very open minded in what he listens to, so Aron’s style of music is difficult to define. AronChupa writes music that Aron Chupa himself likes and thinks other people will like it too. Aron believes in keeping things simple and using the things you know how to do best. Aron still think writing songs is challenging and Aron still get surprised when Aron’s new songs get good reactions from Aron’s listeners.
