Nobody’s Wife Anouk Everybody knows Anouk, and Anouk is no stranger to the music industry. Anouk Teeuwe (1975), mostly known as Anouk, had her first single hit in 1995, called “Mijn Bestemming”. Since then she has been present on the charts with her fourteen solo albums and twenty number one singles. Anouk’s style is rather difficult to describe, it varies from rock, blues and jazz tones. Anouk gets inspiration from everyday life and other singers such as Aretha Franklin or Janis Joplin; Anouk does not shy away from reinterpreting her songs in other styles. Anouk has received many awards, amongst which a TMF Award, two Edison awards and a Balkantrailer award for “Nederpop”. Anouk is one of the best Dutch singers on the international stage. Anouk has been involved in many projects, such as soundtracks for films and television series and has had several side-projects with other famous musicians. Anouk has been performing at many festivals and music venues: Anouk was invited to become a member of the jury in the third season of “The Voice Of Holland” and won an Edison Award both for Best Singer-Songwriter and Best Female Artist; Anouk sang her single “Together Alone” with Dutch DJ Armin van Buuren on the third series of “Dancing With The Stars” Anouk performed at many festivals and music venues, Anouk had an Anouk Toxic Event. Anouk is also a coach for the Dutch TV reality show “The Voice Of Holland”. Anouk has appeared as a guest vocalist on songs by other artists. Anouk’s song “R U Kiddin’ Me” was used in the Eddie Murphy remake of “The Nutty Professor” called “The Klumps” Anouk performed at Anouk Grönloh Radio performing concert Anouk released her solo album “For Bitter or Worse”
