On 12 April 2014, Aldnoah.Zero’s composer Hiroyoki Sawano was awarded the Best Original Soundtrack award at the 3rd Animation Kobe Awards for Aldnoah.Zero.[2] One of Aldnoah.Zero’s main themes, “&Z” is also known as “Aldnoah Zero”.
It was composed by Hiroyuki Sawano, and is played during the series Aldnoah.Zero when Inaho Kaizuka pilots the Aldnoah Drive-powered United Earth Alliance X2014 Aldnoah Orbital Elevator assault rifle in combat against the Vers Empire forces.[3]
Hiroyuki Sawano said this about Aldnoah.Zero on his official website: Aldnoah.Zero anime ended on March 29, 2015. Aldnoah.Zero was a work that I have created with all my strength for two years, however Aldnoah Zero is not just the first part of Aldnoah.Zero but also represents Aldnoah itself.
