Ah! My Goddess –

Ah! My Goddess is originally a Manga series, written and illustrated by Kousuke Fujishima. Ah my goddess is a romantic comedy about a guy named Keiichi Morisato who prayed to the goddess Belldandy in order for her to grant his wish of being able to have a girl fall from the sky to be with him. His wish came true as Belldandy immediately fell from the sky and became his roommate as well as a goddess, or so he thought… After finding out that Belldandy was actually a goddess who happened to have been transferred to earth due to some issues, Keiichi finally finds himself being able to be in the presence of the girl who he spent all this time hoping could be with him. However, since Belldandy is a goddess she must go back to heaven in order to avoid causing any problems on earth by being too close to Keiichi, and because of this Keiichi’s wish comes true once again when Belldandy is able to stay with him by promising to return in a few days. Throughout the series, Keiichi and Belldandy go through many trials and challenges, involving other goddesses who seem to be causing trouble for them as well as the fact that Keiichi has multiple girls who take an interest in him. The Ah! My Goddess Manga ended it’s series in April 2011 with a total of 108 chapters. Ah! My Goddess was also adapted into an anime series created by Anime International Company that aired from 2005-2006, as well as a movie named Ah! My Goddess: The Movie that was released in theaters on July 14th, 2000. Ah! My Goddess is still continuing today through it’s Manga series with the latest being Ah! My Goddess Volume 39, which was released on December 25th, 2015.
